When’s the last time you learned something new? University or high school, right? Or perhaps you’ve had training at work on using some new software or creating fantastic PowerPoint presentations… Fascinating. Well, why not try learning something new and different? We’re not talking about starting a PhD or going to evening classes (unless you want to, of course!), rather taking advantage of the amazing range of opportunities to learn online.

Once upon a time, adult education might have meant sugarcraft classes or life drawing at your local college. These days, thanks to the magic of the Interwebs, there are so many fantastic courses you can study online – and for free! You could be learning about Interactive Strategies for Engaging with Art, a course created by the MoMA in New York. Or finding time to study Time Management. Or getting to grips with how to Talk The Talk and give a great presentation. And then there’s all those languages you could learn…

Check out course providers like Future Learn, ALISON and Coursera for some inspiration. You can learn at your own pace, so finding one night a week or every fortnight isn’t too tough. Challenge yourself, re-awaken your imagination and try learning something new!
