Since launching in 2009, Vestiaire Collective has taken online shopping by storm, becoming the most successful and stylish French export since the Breton tee. The designer resale site has revolutionised our wardrobes, making buying and selling pre-owned luxury fashion a super simple process. And Vestiaire’s success is undoubtedly due – in part – to co-founder and creative tour de force Fanny Moizant. We found out a little more about what drives Moizant, women in business and why self-belief is so important…

Motivation for me is all about…

Having a strong entrepreneurial spirit and total belief in the idea and concept that you’re working on. And of course, a strong belief in yourself and what you can achieve.

Success means…

Feeling accomplished in all areas of my professional and personal life.

I couldn’t have made it without…

Passion and the support of my family.

I always start my day with…

Picking up my phone to check the sales of the previous day.

When I don’t feel inspired…

I cook –  it helps me relax and clear my head

The landscape for women in business today looks like…

There are definitely more opportunities for women in business now, especially in the digital field which is younger and more open-minded so a great environment for women to thrive in. However there are still plenty of areas in business that have a lot of room for improvement.

The trait I most deplore in others is…

A lack of passion.

I’d like to be remembered for…

There’s a song we have in France called “Pas l’indifference”. Loosely translated it means I’d like to be remembered for anything but indifference. It’s important to express your opinions in life, especially when it’s something you feel passionately about.

Can I run in heels?

Yes, but only if I’m late to a board meeting.
